October is another busy month for Splash. We will be cleaning up our community garden and celebrating the harvest by enjoying a Fall Feast luncheon. Turkey and all the fixings will be on the menu! This will be done at both centres with the children and educators. We are busy adapting to the seasonal changes and updating our environments and curriculum. Look forward to amazing activities and routines to fill the days with love for learning!
October marks the beginning of our fiscal year and at this time Leadership will be planning a new budget with the Board, preparing the financials for the audit and having our Annual General Meeting. Our AGM again this year will be by Zoom. We are encouraging you to come to meet the team, see each other, have a presentation of our programs and win some prizes! The nominating committee has brought forward three new members that will be joining the Board of 2021/22. The AGM is on October 21, 2021. Look for your invitation coming soon. Finally, to end this festive month, we will be enjoying our Halloween party on the 29th!!
