Lesley Massey

Lesley has been in the field of Early Learning and Child Care in many capacities since 1976. She graduated with a diploma from Red River College in Early Learning and Child Care, from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Developmental Studies and from University of Manitoba with a certificate in Management. She has been the Executive Director of S.P.L.A.S.H. Child Care Inc. since 1995. Since she has been Director she has represented Splash on many committees and coalitions such as; Anti Gang Collation, Parent Child Coalition, Manitoba Child Care Association and The Regulatory Review Committee of the Government. She has been instrumental in making change happen. She has been asked and has joined many committees to improve the lives of children. She volunteered to assist and empower many organizations in the Point Douglas area. In 2004 she received “The Director of the Year” award.


Tara Richliwski

Tara has worked at S.P.L.A.S.H. Child Care Inc. since October 1996, and has been in the child care field since 1991 working in both preschool and school age centres. Tara has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Winnipeg majoring in Psychology and Developmental Studies. Tara’s interests include the artistic side; such as gardening, cooking, listening to music, or seeing live shows. Tara enjoys being in the outdoors, so she likes to swim during the summer, or just chill out with her dog in the back yard. Tara has come to develop many relationships over the years with the children and their families, coworkers, and community mentors and is very thankful to have and continue to have developed those relationships.
Jean dela Cruz

Jean graduated from Red River College as an ECE 2 in 1996. She brings collective experiences from working with children with all abilities ranging from infants to school age. Jean incorporates emergent curriculum, Reggio Emilia inspired approach and Circle of Security in her day to day interactions. She is a lifelong learner who is continuously learning from others and workshop courses and placing those skills into practice while sharing with others. Jean has worked towards being a collective leader who believes in the value of creating connections and positive relationships with our families, educators and the community. She encourages others to share their experiences and knowledge to create an inclusive and creative environment. On her free time, Jean enjoys spending time with her family. They enjoy taking road trips and watching movies. Jean has also been learning about plants and growing a few vegetables at home.


Janel Wotton

Janel’s love for childcare started at an early age, growing up in a home where her mom ran a daycare. Janel has been working in the childcare profession for over 15 years and she recently graduated with the ECE level III. She is a proud momma of one little and she is excited to join a team in the community of North End. She believes all children have the right to quality childcare and education. Janel is honoured to be a part of that journey and looking forward to meeting everyone.
Danielle Stacey

Danielle joined Splash Early Learning Centre in July 2022. She has worked in the childcare field for over 10 years and recently graduated from the Advanced Diploma in Leadership in Early Childhood Care & Education program offered through the University of Winnipeg PACE. She believes that all children deserve high-quality care and ample time exploring outdoors. In her spare time, Danielle enjoys being active, crafting, cooking/baking, and spending time with loved ones.


Michelle Droux

Michelle has worked in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2001. She graduated with Honors in 2009 with her ECE II Diploma from Red River College. She started working for Splash Child Enrichment Centre in 2010 as a group leader for the Eagle Group. In 2016, she transferred to the office to become a part of the Administrative Support Team. She is now the Administrative Assistant for all of our current locations. Michelle loves travelling to tropical places, listening to music and spending time outdoors on her deck with her dog and family. She believes in quality care for all children and that children learn best through play.
Andrea Nguyen

Andrea graduated with Business Administration-Accounting diploma with Honours from Red River College in 2020. She has been working with Splash since March 2020 as our bookkeeper. Andrea is very dedicated to her job as she has passion for working with numbers and logical things like Mathematics. Andrea is responsible for payroll, financial statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable of the business operation. She hopes to contribute more to the development of Splash and to build good relationships with colleagues and children. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, watching movies, and learning to play the piano.


Dj Gauthier

Dj has been working with Splash since 2009. They were originally hired for Splash Child Enrichment Centre and after 2 years moved over to S.P.L.A.S.H. Child Care Inc. and now has moved on to Splash Early Learning Centre in an administrative capacity. Dj brings a warm and welcoming nature to the Splash family. They are a proud Non-Binary person and always encourages the children to learn about accepting and embracing other people for who they are. Dj always crosses paths with children and families in the neighborhood, always greeting them with a friendly “Hello”. Dj has a background in computers and electronics, as well as they are very crafty and resourceful, which helps the children when they want to come up with new ideas for crafts and games. Dj is a very nature based person. They find being in nature a very calming experience and have taken the time to help the children understand the quietness and beauty of what nature has to offer.
