Splash Early Learning Centre/Urban Learning Centre Educators

Anna is a passionate advocate for early childhood education and has been a proud member of the Splash team since 2023. She strives daily to make learning a joyful and meaningful experience for the children she works with. Anna places a high value on kindness, creativity, and curiosity in her educational approach.

Originally from abroad, Anna is fluent in four languages. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new cities and countries, often savoring a cappuccino at a local café.

Ari is a recent addition to the Splash Team. Before joining Splash, she served as a Child Care Assistant at another center for over four years. She finds immense satisfaction in witnessing children reach their developmental milestones and cherishes the opportunity to create fond memories with them each day.

Arshdeep completed her Early Childhood Education diploma in February 2022 and is continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth in the field. She gained over two years of experience as an ECE III in Saskatchewan. To stay current with best practices, Arshdeep has successfully completed various professional development, microcredential, and play and exploration assessments. She holds a strong belief in children’s inherent capabilities and competence. Arshdeep actively engages in play-based learning with young children, valuing the insights gained into their creative thinking and imagination. She is highly enthusiastic about the experiences offered within Manitoba’s Early Learning Program.

Fatema, originally from Bangladesh, relocated to Canada in July 2022. She is currently participating in the Elmwood Youth Employment Experience, a work placement program facilitated by the Elmwood Community Resource Centre.

In her leisure time, Fatema enjoys gardening, listening to music, and reading novels. She brings valuable experience in childcare, having previously volunteered with the Bangladesh Rehabilitation Assistance Committee (BRAC).

Fatema holds a Master of Business Administration and has completed a childcare course from the Canadian Muslim Women’s Institute (CMWI). Driven by her passion for working with children, she plans to further her education by enrolling in the Early Childhood Education program.

Originally from the Philippines, Francesca has always been curious and eager to learn more about the topics that interest her. She has had a strong interest in psychology for many years and once dreamed of pursuing a career in the field. Child psychology especially intrigued her, which inspired Francesca to begin working in childcare in 2026 and start her CCA journey.

Francesca is driven by creativity and curiosity, which she loves bringing into the children’s learning experiences. She enjoys seeing big celebrations and major milestones, but believes that the smallest wins can be just as meaningful. For Francesca, every achievement is worth celebrating, and she believes in dreaming big because no dream is ever too big!

Hazel was born in Israel and moved to Canada at a young age. She started her child care journey working as a CCA and went into ECE training at a Jewish preschool, working with children ages 2-6 for 4 years. She then received the Board of Governors gold medal when graduating from Red River College in 2022 from the Early Childhood Education program as an ECE II. After graduating, Hazel moved to New York to work with children of different ages and needs. Hazel takes pride in creating bonds with each individual child and discovering their interests to provide the best childcare she can. In her spare time, Hazel enjoys singing, listening to music, playing sports, spending time with her loved ones, and has an interest in sustainable fashion and film.

Ivanna Todavchych is a dedicated psychotherapist and hypnotherapist with 10 years of professional experience, specializing in working with children. Her extensive international travels have enabled her to learn seven languages, fostering a unique ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ivanna views her work with children as crucial for understanding the root of various challenges, empowering her to help new generations build a bright and healthy future. An open and highly creative individual, she excels at crafting environments that are both engaging and conducive to children’s development, allowing them to have fun while discovering their inherent worth.

Jashan has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2021. She completed her Early Childhood Education program at CDI College, Pointe Claire, Quebec in January 2022 and joined the Splash in May 2022. She enjoys working with the children because she can watch them grow and develop into confident learners. In her free time, she loves to paint, read books and explore new places around her.

Jaspreet joined the SPLASH team in July 2026 as a Child Care Assistant and has since grown into her current role as an Early Childhood Educator II in Training. She is currently pursuing her Early Childhood Education studies and enjoys creating a warm, caring, and welcoming environment where children feel safe to learn, play, and explore. Jaspreet loves building meaningful connections with children, joining them in their play, and supporting their growth and development. She believes that every child is unique and enjoys encouraging children to express themselves, try new things, and learn at their own pace.

Outside of child care, Jaspreet enjoys dancing, travelling, and cooking. She loves exploring new places, experiencing different things, and spending time in the kitchen trying new recipes.

Leah has worked in childcare for over six years and has experience working with both preschool and school-age children. 

Manpreet is a caring, responsible, and dedicated Child Care Assistant (CCA) with a passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and well-being. She enjoys creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and encouraged to explore.

She believes children learn best through play, meaningful interactions, and hands-on experiences. She enjoys planning and supporting age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, confidence, social skills, and independence.

Patient, dependable, and a strong team player, she values building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Her goal is to make each child feel supported and cared for while helping them develop the skills they need to grow and thrive.

Marta joined the Splash team in February of 2025. She previously worked as a Child Care Assistant at another center. Marta enjoys creating memories and spending time outdoors in the summer, with a particular fondness for nature walks.

Matthew is a Child Care Assistant (CCA). He is a very chill/relaxed individual. He tries not to rush things, he takes his time. Matthew enjoys being outside in the fresh air and he likes going out for walks. On his free time, he likes playing video games and composing his own music.

Mehrnoush was born and raised in Iran and has over ten years of experience as a high school teacher and counselor. She is also the Founder and Owner of Elite Kindergarten in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she designed and implemented a program for children aged 18 months to 6 years, combining personalized learning in small groups with a focus on holistic child development.

Having lived in four countries and traveled extensively, she brings a multicultural perspective to her work with children and families. After moving to Canada, she continued her journey in childcare and remains eager to grow and develop professionally.

She takes pride in connecting with each child, understanding their individual strengths and interests, and creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment.

Nathan transitioned into the field of Early Childhood Education in July 2024. Prior to this, he graduated from the Applied Accounting program at Red River College and the Culinary Arts program at R.B. Russell Vocational High School. He was also pursuing an Education degree at the University of Winnipeg when an opportunity arose to work with young children, which solidified his appreciation for the foundational impact of early learning. His teaching philosophy, “To learn with the child,” centers on fostering a strong, nurturing connection with children to discern their unique learning styles and tendencies. This approach allows him to tailor the most effective learning methods and environments for every individual.

Pardeep Kaur is a certified Early Childhood Educator holding her ECE Level 2 designation. She joined the Splash Daycare family in May of 2026, bringing with her a genuine passion for nurturing young minds and creating safe, engaging spaces where children can grow and thrive. Pardeep believes that the early years are the most important years, and she is dedicated to making every child feel seen, valued, and loved.

Outside of the classroom, Pardeep enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring her love of cooking — two passions that often find their way into her work through nature-inspired activities and fun culinary adventures with her little ones.

Prerna is an Early Childhood Educator II at Splash Early Learning Centre. She has been working in the early learning field for over five years. Throughout her experience, she has had the opportunity to work with children of different ages and learn from each child’s unique personality, interests, and way of learning.

Prerna enjoys being part of children’s everyday experiences and watching their confidence grow as they explore, create, and try new things. She especially enjoys outdoor and nature-based experiences, where children can use their imagination, become curious about the world around them, and simply enjoy being outside.

Being able to learn alongside children and be part of their early years is something Prerna truly enjoys. Outside of work, she enjoys writing quotes, reading books, singing, dancing, and exploring nature.

Taylor is an enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator in training, currently completing her program at Red River College, set to graduate in April 2025. With over two years of experience in childcare, she brings a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a positive learning environment. She loves incorporating outdoor activities and music into her work, believing that play experiences and creativity are essential for children’s development. She is excited to contribute her passion and energy to Splash!

Funny, energetic, and curious, that is Yueshuya. He started to try to learn how to be an early childhood educator when it was the thousandth time that his four sisters tried to put their feet on his face. “There’s gotta be a better way,” he thought. So, he went to Louis Riel Art and Technology centre and got his early childhood education certificate. And with two years’ working experience in a Montessori school, he decided to face his sisters again. Two hours later, he finally realized that he has a lot to learn. Therefore, with a humble mind, he came to Splash Early Learning Center and was ready to be better. It is really hard for him to remember other people’s names, he is trying, really, but if you can just tell your name before you talk with him, it will be really helpful. If you have a hard time saying his name, just call him Josh, he will answer you. He always says, “I have a flame-like soul, and it never gets cold.” So, if you see him outside squatting down, he is probably overheated.
